African dreams

This is a painting about a beautiful African girl, who lives far from home in love and luxury, but misses her distant homeland and her love. This is a story that a friend told me. Several years ago he was in South Africa for work. There he met a black girl and they had an affair. Relationships developed rapidly and everything went to the wedding, but then her former boyfriend returned to her homeland from abroad. He was already aged and very rich. He began to visit the girl's family, give expensive gifts to her, her parents and relatives. He paid attention to the family in every possible way and soon asked for the girl's hand. She did not want to marry him, she loved my friend. For a long time, the girl did not agree. But her parents closed her at home and forbade her to communicate with my friend. They persuaded her for a long time and soon, under the onslaught of the family, she agreed and married him. After a while, he took her to Australia. My friend never saw her again.
