The HEAD #2 ~ Canvas Painting

NFT + sending the Original Canvas Painting to the NFT owner.

Size: 140 x 115 cm (55 x 45 inch), Oil & Acrylic on canvas, rhinestones.

My "heads" are shown as photo-negatives. The ‘cold’ color of flesh alludes to spirituality while blue is the color of eternal peace in iconography.

Negative leads us to the flipside of the material world, to the metaphysics in its visual incarnation.

From ‘warm’ flesh to ‘cold’ spirit. When I’m painting faces in deep indigo colors I feel like I’m capturing the world of the soul.

Inversion is at the heart of the universe. Yin & Yang are the original cosmogenesis of the world. From dark to light. Negative to positive. Unifying two opposite forces.

Turn on "Invert colors" in your phone to see the world in this concept.

The main idea behind the gemstones in my "heads" is that human soul is an eternal substance. After a physical death a soul is reincarnated into the firmest, eternal mineral - diamond.

The purest souls become the purest diamonds.
