This piece is a celebration of a champion, and my interpretation of my favorite image of him! I've been wanting to paint water for a while because I personally adore the movement and abstraction you can create. It was a great exercise of shape design, and I had fun with the light refraction on his skin ☀️🌊

I used beta fish instead of flowers because they have a strong floral quality and make more sense underwater! 🎏
