Lost to the Sand

There’s something about places that are pummeled by the elements, those places where the wind scours, the sun bakes the earth and the rain and snow wipe away any trace of humanity.

For me. these places are reminders that – whatever my troubles – I have perspective.

This planet will move on regardless: long after we’re all gone - these places will continue to be shaped by those same elements: and so right there, where I’m privileged enough to be, I can take a beat to remind myself that every second is to important to be wasted on worries and doubt – these places are reminders to me to live. Live large, live loud, and to seize every moment
