The Blizzard Of 2016

Snow days take me back to when I was a kid living in Jersey. I can vividly remember my sister and I sitting at the window sill watching the snow fall and listening to the radio to hear if our town was closing school that day. If we heard those magical words we would celebrate.

Snow days are also a guilt free day off even for many adults. So when it snowed that morning in January I knew it was a guilt free day off, and I can't tell you how excited I was to photograph what I saw.

To see this city blanketed in snow for the first time with my own eyes was pure magic. I was cold, but every photo I clicked off that day I took with a smile and happy heart. As snow days always look beautiful, and always bring me back to my fondest childhood memories with my family.
