All eyes on gold

Olympic Gold is the ultimate goal for every athlete. Those who make it are forever in the history books of their sports. If you walk through the Olympic Village with a gold medal, you attract everyone's attention: All eyes are on gold.

This picture was taken by me at the Olympic Games in Tokyo on August 5 2021 and completed on November 3 2021 to symbolize the gazes of those around the winner.

The resolution is 2,804 x 4,157 pixels which adds up to 11,656 x 10^3 pixels and reflects the 11,656 athletes who competed for gold.
