Guardian Muses

Inspired by the three muses of ancient Greek mythology known to be the goddesses of literature, science and the arts. In this painting the guardian muses protect and watch over the sacred fortress of knowledge in the mountains. The bird in the foreground is the pied crow found in Ghana as well as other parts of Africa and Eurasia. This bird signifies high spiritual wisdom amongst some tribes in Ghana.
