FIRE #2 - Heart’s Inferno

Yes, this is real. A once in a lifetime shot, this photo is extremely valuable as the location has since been closed to the public. A few years back, at the peak of fall, I flew out to central Canada to shoot the vibrant changing of the seasons. While there, I tracked down a very special lake deep in the wilderness I had heard rumours of. After spending the night at a friend’s cabin with my brother, a little hungover, we strapped a canoe to the car, and set out. 4 hours later, the sun setting, we found ourselves frantically scrambling and yelling across a lake as he drifted around attempting to align the canoe for the shot. Our efforts were rewarded, the fruits of which you can see in the “4 Elements” announcement video. Because of its rarity, this composition one of my most prized pieces available.
