Cortical Flow #2: Can you hear me listening?

Cortical Flow #2 is a quantum computer sonification of my brain listening to Beethoven's 7th Symphony.

Firstly, I scanned my brain while I listened to Beethoven's music. Then, I sonified the respective neural data using a photonic quantum computer.

Photons modulated the neural data for translation into sound.

The modulated data inflected the visual rendering of the brain imaging.

Technical specifications: Brain scanning with a superconducting Siemens Allegra 3T MRI. Neuroimaging data processed through Independent Component Analysis. The sonification uses Gaussian Boson Sampling performed on a photonic hardware device. This NFT consists of an extract lasting for 12 seconds. The 3D visualization is from the left frontal side.
