Triumph of Violence

What is the first thing you see in this image? Is it a desert? I assume you that it's not just.a desert - once a blossomed planet with rich fauna and terrain - but after the decades and ages of civilization's touch it's totally ruined, burned by the nuclear sun and Emperor's will to prevail above all.

Maybe it's an old battlefield? Still metal shreds of the technis lie on the ground - but they were defeated by nature, not by a cruel enemy or cunning traitor.

Or maybe you discover ruins of giant columns? Yes, the most important part - source of Emperor's technical supremacy and the grim doom for him and his servants in decades.

It's in human nature - find yourself an opponent and fight him fiercely. Just imagine what could be reached without all this unnecessary violence? All this wasted resources, talents and much more - and for what?
