I lived for 4 months in a "dirty work*" art studio with no shower as the material. I moved in with all of my earthly possessions which had been in storage boxes for a few years whilst I was living nomadically. During that time I dived into self-reflection and oversharing of insights about self vs society in the IG account @aevtarperform. These moments of oversharing reflections in IG stories, IG live streams and IG feed punctuation were sandwiched with visual interludes.
This piece collates documental moments, interludes, related fragments dealing with platform capitalism and the ios generated avatars that have been used for self-reflection. First shown at Import Projects, 2017.
*dirty work studio: an art studio meant for painting, sculpture and other toxic materials with no infrastructure for living in.
