Sleepless at Fuji San

I'll never forget that night.

On some rare nights during the early spring in Japan, it is possible to stare at a scene like this. One needs a clear, mostly cloudless night, with no moon to see this combo of the milky way over Mt. Fuji. In real life, it is much darker, but once your eyes adjust, just as spectacular. Bring headphones, listen to calming lofi, and admire the scenery.

This is not a render, but a real timelapse captured after an hour long hike up a mountain in total darkness.
