Train graffiti, with its humble beginnings in New York City during the 1970's, was a form of extreme street art, for which the artists felt like they had a moving canvas that could be seen by millions. They often risked their lives to create such art.
I took this photograph at night using a Nikon d750 and lighting equipment to highlight the graffiti on the train. This was a long exposure shot taking approximately 30 seconds to take. I created the animation using Adobe After Effects giving it a surreal quality and then did some further editing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
