Desire

As a woman, I've gone through many times of unsureness about myself and how others perceive me. Focusing too much on how I look versus how I feel, the control that body image has over young women can be extremely toxic, trying to find how to love yourself and your body is no easy feat. I painted Desire to display the beauty of the body and to let other women know it is okay to be sexual and it is okay to love your body. You owe no answers to others for how you choose to dress or what goes on in your bedroom. I hope this piece can inspire you to feel joy when you look into the mirror. You deserve to know that your body and all bodies are beautiful.
