Wash Trading

"Wash Trading" is my genesis piece. It combines my piano & artwork against the powerful speech by the late James Baldwin. James touches on the responsibilities all artists share.

The title "Wash Trading" is a play on the critics of NFTs. Wash trading is market manipulation in which the collector's sole purpose is to artificially drive up the value of the piece.

My motivation is to create a pause in the viewer to reflect and unveil the inner artists in us all. There is a fundamental shift in the value of digital art happening presently and my hope is that the viewer becomes aware of what is truly going on here.
