Whenever water can make its way into the deserts of the Southwest, something special happens - life starts to flourish where it usually struggles, and this lake in central Arizona is the perfect example. Even somewhere that consistently reaches 100 degrees plus in the summer can show signs of life, and this bird flying between the 2 cactus is one of my favorite examples of it.
