Born to Chase: Spaghetti

When you hear about Nebraska, everyone thinks "boring", but in fact, Nebraska is one of my favorite states. It is beautiful, green and a brief home to some of the most powerful storms on the planet. Today was not supposed to be a big severe weather event, but storms that form here in the Sand Hills are absolutely gorgeous. At sunset, the powerful storm I had been chasing all day gave me a light show I will never forget. This shot was one of the last bolts visible from my view and it popped out of the clouds in fashion.
