An adventure by day and a chase by night. I left late in the day with the goal of exploring Southeast Arizona. I had been through the area only a handful of times, but never took the chance to see what was there. With an ice cream by my side, I drove around the Wilcox Playa, famous chase area for monsoon chasers. It was hot reaching 100 degrees Fahrenheit, but the scenery and the many wineries I passed by made up for the heat. As daylight started to fade, storms started to fire just north of McNeal, AZ. A rainbow appeared, but Mother Nature refused to drop a bolt. Rain started to fall on me and it was time to pack up. I drove a few miles north on the next available road as night fell. Only three bolts dropped and I caught them all. This was the second of the two.
