MEMORIES: DISK

A retro futuristic animation of an important memory storage technology in our history. Digital memory is often an extension of our personal memory, storing photos, videos, images, audio, software and writing. The 3½-inch FLOPPY DISK was most popular during the 1980s. The technology itself may hold more significance depending on the generation of the people who used it. Organising the data, creating custom labels and distributing disks amongst friends and family may be considered a cultural moment and an important memory in its own right.
