One Photo a Day: Day 8

This photo was taken in August of 2020, on a clear night in the Bisti Badlands of New Mexico. Everything was pitch black, save for the bright pinholes of stars blanketing the sky, and the beam of my flashlight (used here to illuminate these alien-like rock formations).

Honestly, walking around the desert in the middle of the night is somewhat eerie - especially when there's curious bats occasionally swooping around you.
