The Isle Of The 0xdead is an exploration of a singular and foundational aspect of blockchain mythology through the lens of the seminal "Isle Of The Dead" (Die Toteninsel), painted by Arnold Böcklin in 1880. The latter gave birth to one of the most memetic lineage, with remakes by countless artists through centuries some of which are paid tribute to here (look for attributes). The BurnAddress of Ethereum is a mythical digital locus akin to black hole, where tokens and data of all sorts can get in but never out, offering a fascinating view on the cemetery of the blockchain. This series offers a meticulously crafted interactive piece of art in, arguably, and doubles as a place for a cryptoritual, accompanying you through grief and loss on the blockchain.

Within the psychopomp's guidance, the vessel is the wallet of choice, 'remembering who you were' means you sign in with it, 'remembering where it was' means typing in the smart contract address of the token you wish to let go, and 'remembering what it was' is the number of token in the smart contract.
