Chifuyu was the most meticulous trainee The Heart of the Forest had ever seen. Their training forms were precise, their meditation focused, and their desire to help was enormous. The problem was that their help always ended in catastrophe. Their attempt to organize the village library by scent resulted in a sneeze-induced avalanche of scrolls. When they tried to improve the communal stew pot with a rare spice, it turned everything a vibrant, harmless, but inedible blue. They earned the Dragonslayer Blade not by felling a beast, but by accidentally triggering a series of events involving a beehive, a runaway fruit cart, and a very startled merchant that somehow convinced a wandering monster to leave the territory forever. The villagers gave them the blade with genuine gratitude and a pact to never let them cook again.
