The Marina Bay Sands is one of the most iconic places in Singapore. The resort was designed by Moshe Safdie, who says it was initially inspired by card decks. The icon was opened to the public in 2010.
The Story: A decade ago, I moved to Singapore to pursue a life-changing career move that determined the next couple of years in my life. The whole experience was jarring and difficult; but along the challenges come life lessons that led me to where I am today.
The Series: "From Memory" is a collection of photos that capture some of the places I visited and how they are seen in my mind: the visual allure, the melancholic color grading, coupled with the emotions, experience and the feeling that they evoke.
