Thunder God

Another prompt piece themed after thunder. What better way to show the theme than to have a force of nature given form as Thor? An attempt to work on skills in character design, I tried to capture the heroic stance and intimidating presence, while still keeping the character lighthearted and fun to fit with the 2D design. I kept in mind the idea of animating this piece, and simplified elements, while exaggerating others, to lead the audience's focus to parts of the whole design.
