Monsters

We all run away from from our monsters. We all have them. Monsters live within us and we usually don’t realize that the best way to defeat them is talking to them, becoming their friend. I hid them within myself for a long time, I just didn’t want to face them until recently when I was basically forced to do it and I’m happy that happened because now instead of running from them I run with them.

In this piece I represent the balance between the chaos the Monsters brought to my life for a long time and at the same time the new peace I get to experience in the present. This piece is mirrored down the middle with the exception of the title on the girl's crown.
