La Ballerine

The theme was fantasy. My thought process went to make-believe, and how I had wanted to be a ballerina once upon a time ago. I very much enjoy silhouette drawings, and thought it would be perfect, as it added just enough detail to show the figure, but at the same time, left the viewer in the place of the child--letting them imagine with them.
