This piece was my first attempt at creating a monoprint. Throughout the process, I was very confused and worried about the final result. I decided to demonstrate these doubts by creating a discombobulated background. The original piece was a mix of block ink, acrylic paint, charcoal, marker, and pen ink. This print captures the complexities of the original while giving the piece a smooth finish.
