Viennese Wildlife: Encounter

A wild urban roe deer (Capreolus capreolus) noticing me while crossing one of the many paths on the “Zentralfriedhof “ in Vienna. They roam freely there and should be used to joggers and visitors, but they are shy and it's good to be careful and as silent as possible. If you stand still encounters like this seem to let them stay calm. If you ever visit, please never go after them.

15% of net profit will go directly to an organization taking care of wildlife in and around Vienna (very likely the IGL-Marchfeldkanal).
