May the Light shine upon you!

I fell in love with Hokkaido, Japan, when I first visited Hokkaido in 2014. In 2016, I made a return again to Hokkaido, fulfilling my personal promise to capture four different seasons of Hokkaido.

In Hokkaido, I was mesmerised by a number of glorious moments, chasing the light shining through the sky and clouds, onto the landscapes of Hokkaido.

I learned about this Japanese phrase 木漏れ日 / komorebi, this is one of the reasons why I sometimes chase the light in my photography adventures around the world.
