Majesty in Light

I've really been waiting a long time for that moment. Last year the weather conditions didn't allow me to have this view, but in March I finally managed to see these mountains in all their magnificence.

This is one of the many views you can get from the Lagazuoi Refuge, a real 360° terrace on the Dolomites that takes your breath away wherever you look!

It was afternoon, and the light came and went from the mountains creating this really sensational mix of lights and shadows, which reminds me of that feeling of power of the Tolkenian landscapes.

I did this photo with my Nikon D750 and one of my telephoto lens, the Tamron 70-200mm f/2.8 G2, and post-produced with Adobe Photoshop CC.
