"The Observer is the Observed"

I am fascinated by Tattooist and those who seek their services. I spent many hours photographing their creations in process. Here Tattooist, Cole Nogrady, is working on a full back tattoo of a client. The title comes from a concept of Jiddu Krishnamurti in which all parties of an event actually are participants in the drama. There is no such thing as a witness only, every living creature involved is part of the unfolding drama. This is a multimedia creation beginning with photography and manipulated with a computer using Photoshop, Topaz software, OnOne software, as well as Pixelbender.
