The Delbos: Captain Apemo

Captain Apemo was born on September 5, 2021 when Jose Delbo collaborated with his grandson Nick Frontera to create a new character based on Frontera’s Bored Ape Yacht Club ape. In this piece, José has once again collaborated with another member of his family, his daughter Silvana, to depict Captain Apemo in Silvana’s signature painterly style consisting of bright colors and abstract backgrounds.
