The Village

With this artwork I wanted to create something truly peaceful. A place where humans and nature live in harmony. This village is an interconnected tapestry of huts that makes it easy to navigate via bridges and encourages inhabitants to partake in the community in an organic way. The focal point is the king's hut with more adornments , color and magnitude than the rest of the village, but yet accessible to all. I wanted to create an authentic African sunset that reminds me of my childhood in South Africa where I was fortunate enough to visit Kruger National Park. This is a homage to Africa.
