15,000 Wishes

In 2021, Make-A-Wish UK granted its 15,000th wish - a significant milestone, after coronavirus forced a year of postponements and cancelled wishes.

This commissioned work for Art of Wishes features 15,000 strands, each one representing a wish becoming a reality thanks to the Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK. Hope, possibility, beauty derived from chaos, the restoration of childhood and a change from the norm are the themes that run through every strand.
