The Jersey Hugadevil

The Jersey Hugadevil has a bad reputation for…well, doing some not so nice things. Attacking a trolley. Showing up uninvited to parties. Stealing livestock. Scaring people hiking through the Pine Barrens. It’s unfortunate he’s got such an awful reputation because he’s terribly misunderstood. When those chickens went missing, yes, he was there – trying to scare away the fox who snuck into the hen house. He was also there on the trolley that day, trying to warn the conductor of an oncoming train (successfully, the distraction was enough to avert disaster). It might be terrifying to meet up with the Jersey Hugadevil deep in the woods, but don’t worry - he just wants to share his trail mix with you. If he starts chasing you down the path with his arms outstretched, he really just needs a hug but doesn’t know how to ask (he’s shy).
