Artwork part of Hackatao's "Remix Me" project x Makersplace. First Hackatao's Remix drop of the series. Partnership "Piselli & Partners" and "Makersplace".
Dyke, also called Justice, always depicted with a blindfold, a scale and a sword, appears in Vittorio Bonapace's vision as a nude bandaged woman, balancing a television and a computer on her arms. Based on Hackatao's work the aim of this artwork was creating a bridge between the original myth and the Digital Era: Internet and social media prevail and become the Table of the Law, connecting but creating confusion and distance at the same time. Inside the glitching screens "Justice" appears with clothes, make-up and with all those illusions and appearances we put on everyday on social media. The cables are designed to express our need to connect or reconnect to something we're constantly chasing and looking for in our lives. Certainly all those elements and the blinking lights aim to express technology and machines.
