Chernobyl. A name forever associated with one of the worst disasters in the history of mankind. On April 26th 1986 at the Chernobyl nuclear facility, after an unsafe system test, a vessel ruptured and a series of explosions occurred.
The explosion had a radiation equivalent to twenty times the atomic bombings used at Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Today it's like a movie set, a ghost town. The emptiness is overwhelming, the silence is deafening.
Comes with a signed 40x30cm Hahnemühle Fine Art print
