SYNESTHESIA PT. 2 - Feelings in Negative: lowluv-- ugly
The fourth piece of my "SYNESTHESIA PT. 2 - Feelings in Negative" painting collection, "lowluv-- ugly" is a 16" x 20" acrylic painting on stretched canvas. This piece is inspired by what I experience in my head when feeling ugly and uninspired, staring into the mirror feeling vile and low. The version of myself I refer to as the "lowluv".
"SYNESTHESIA PT. 2 - Feelings in Negative" is an acrylic, abstract, neo-expressionism painting collection that depicts what is going on inside my head visually when experiencing or thinking about certain emotions and feelings through use of dark atmospheres and bright neon colors. Each painting is accompanied by a poem that is written while staring at the painting.

i'm a loser not a lover. my face is covered in ugly mugs, puddles of mud, the lowlife in love with drugs, and stubborn. when LUV turns LOW i feel ugly and self guttered, a feeling that comes with others, feeling dumb and undiscovered. this is what it looks like when i feel ugly and like a loser and not a lover. my face melting in the colors. the mirror reflects back a mug of ugly puddles, and i'm lower compared to others by worth but not when it comes to struggle. who am i to complain when others can't see color? seek others that understand but no one's as ugly as the lowluv, a version of myself that thinks i'm a loser and not a lover.
