Still Life 17

Part of my Still Life Series. I see these as continuation of the tradition of the still life genre of the 16th and 17th centuries (Netherlandish paintings, following the Dutch term 'stilleven').

An arrangement of objects suitable for the study and play of light, shadow, form, sculpture, life and in sum and part, the essence of things. I bring to it my inherent interest in sculpture. I hope you enjoy.
