Sowing seeds isn't just a piece of art, but rather a question to anyone who looks at it.
What is it that we are doing here as mortals ?. What are we leaving behind after our demise ?. Are you sowing the right seeds, to be remembered after you are gone, that benefits the society or someone in particular after you are gone ?
The cooler tone of the artwork is supposed to create a sense of uneasiness just like in cinematography in align to the proposed question, the splash of colors acts as a symbol of leaving something great behind, or rather the things people can "reap" after you are gone to benefit them in some way.
