"The Water Breaks"- Born Of Nature I Project-

A massive land art mural located in Emäsalo, Finland. Painted with only natural earth pigments and water, this ephemeral mural has since washed away, since the date of its creation in November 2019.

The work depicts an unborn child still within the earth. The water laps against the granite rock face as if to signify the time of its birth has come.

The "Born Of Nature Project" is a multi-faceted project including painting, photography, videography and an original soundtrack by Juuso Hämäläinen. Please head over to the full project page to view the short film and read all about the piece. https://www.davidpopaart.com/bornofnature
