Up in the mountains, in the village of Simtola, A woman lives alone in her house. When she went to the jungle to get firewood, She carried some hash in her blouse. She sat under a conifer and filled up her chillum, Which had once belonged to her spouse. She smoked it, refilled it and smoked some more, Till she felt light as a grouse.
Till the colors turned brighter around her, And the winds to her felt loud, She sat there smoking her chillum, Till she could see shapes in the cloud. Sometimes accompanied by friends, Sometimes alone, escaping the crowd. She went to the forest daily, As long as the weather allowed.
