CONSUME PROPAGANDA - UNCLE SAM

Originally inspired by They Live, John Carpenter’s 80’s cult classic, the word CONSUME is derivative of the propaganda used to control the human race by alien overlords. CONSUME PROPAGANDA is a vibrant piece of political pop art utilizing a limited color palette of saturated reds and blues that was inspired by WW2 propaganda posters. Uncle Sam is the OG propaganda man for nationalist brainwashing whose creation was to recruit, program and uphold the agenda of the United States, no matter the cause. Uncle Sam is the landmark to which all metaphorical propaganda figureheads are compared to because his impression is still felt to this day for good and bad.
