City of a thousand candles

An appetizer of the opening ceremony of Matera Cultural Capital of Europe 2019. The whole area switched off their lights to see the "Sassi" historical centre lit by candles only. "Il Cielo Stellato". This once forgotten town now in the limelight attracting travelers from all over the world because of it's impressive historical heritage and culture. This has been my home for 8 years.
