Long Sea Love by Margarida Maltinha

This is a collaboration between Margarida e Ana Isabel. We named our artwork 'Long Sea Love', as the sea is a force of nature that is alive and in constant transformation. It is the same with art. Our style and craft is forever evolving, but our love and passion for art will always remain.

Ana Isabel: This photograph was created in 2014. It marks the day I realised what I wanted my photography style to be. By then I had been photographing since 2006, but it was in this photo session, right by the soothing ocean, that I knew this was the kind of work I wanted to create.

Margarida: This work is a personal reinterpretation of visuals, poems and/or music; always with two concepts in mind: intersemiotic translation and the representation of the body in media art.
