Black Flower, Black Night
I became transfixed with this flower when I came across it. Black as night , I was mesmerized. I gazed into it's heart, peering through and past it's layers. It's wisdom reflected in it's depth I was always afraid of the dark. Gazing into this plants beauty reminded me of the beauty of the night. May you find peace is this heady diamond bloom.
Nature is inspiring and so to its myriad of colors. I am constantly stopping to smell the roses. Though I am known for my photography of people ,nature captures my soul and takes my breath away.Like an act of kindness when someone does something magnificent.
This plant is a succulent and the plentiful nourishment of rain in an arid landscape seemed a fitting juxtaposition.

Anna Wilding's films & photographs have received worldwide critical acclaim.Ms Wilding's still photographs were first published as a teenager .Ms Wilding grew up old school hand printing black and white and shooting on old Nikon's, Olympics, and Mamiya's in her studio, on commissions and in street photography.
In her early days Ms Wilding was influenced by the work of Henri Cartier Bresson however reviewers compare her work ,in both film and still photography , to that of the classical Master painters.
Each of Anna's photographs are unique and blessed with a masterful eye, Ms Wilding loves working with light and deliberate use of color or black and white..or indeed a combination if suitable to the work.
Ms Wilding's limited edition fine art prints of the Obama White House hang in private collections on both coasts & in her coffee table book Celebrate Hope . Anna's motion picture work is archived by invitation at the Margaret Herrick Library at Academy of Motion Picture Arts Sciences.
