REBORN

Reborn is an animation I created in a dark time in my life. I had experienced death of a loved one for the first time two years ago and since then 3 more loved ones have passed away. I have a lot of issues handling this topic in present day but the week my cousin passed away I sat down and just created to escape. This is the result of those emotions and thoughts.

Reborn is about the the cycle of life and death. The skull is what I am using to portray the bare bones of death and the gold serves as the medium we as humans have to go through to start to see the new life that can come from it. Sometimes we are reminded of memories we forgot of, sometimes it brings people in the same room that have not seen each other in quite some time. It is important to celebrate the life that was lived when we face this adversity and I want everyone to remember that it will be okay.
