Voyager one - Beginning to Journey
The NFT was inspired by the golden record records of Voyager 1, which was launched into space in 1977. The content of the record was selected by Carl Sagan and his friends. Various natural sounds such as waves, wind, thunder, animal sounds and their music from different cultures and eras and various works of art are featured.
The plate consists of 2 parts. The first part consists of details such as mathematics, DNA and the solar system, and the second part consists of details such as human culture and world history. For this reason, NFT consists of 2 parts. First part was inspired by the resulting geometry and the map showing the place of humanity in the cosmos and the solar system on the tattoo golden record on the statue. The second part was created using the sculpture named Le Saine by Antonie Coysevox, one of the pieces of human culture and one of the statues in the golden record.
Inspired by humanity's voyager adventure which is expected to last 40,000 years, this NFT is the reason Fuat and Okan have come together. The adventure of these 2 artists started exactly 12 years ago in one of Turkey's smallest and inadequate universities. Both artists in the NFT have become world-renowned artists with their work in the last 12 years, and while Okan Uckun moved to New York as an artist, Fuat Degirmenci moved to London as an artist. They continue their lives by creating art in these two big cities.
This NFT is the way these two artists celebrate the last 12 years by combining their art journey with the Voyager idea, one of humanity's most important adventures.
