Waimea Bay Shore Break, Haleiwa, North Shore O'ahu

I took this in December 2017, we'd gone to Hawaii to cover the Billabong Pipemasters and this was during a Lay day. Rather than hang around we went to Waimea, looked at the waterfalls and decided on doing some long exposures on the famous shore break. However the waves coming in were maybe 8ft high with this beautiful back lighting so I took a series of shots using my 70 - 300mm lens rather than the 10 - 20mm Landscape
