Paradise was here all along

An evergreen forest surrounds the narrow pathway. It leads through lush vegetation, winding around rolling hills. The crashing sound of a waterfall stands in greeting as you step out onto the meadow by the lake. Mist bubbles just above the natural basin, the landbound clouds float to cover the greenery. Your face slowly turns to a smile and then it breaks into a grin. Seems like paradise was here all along.
